Association Management Solutions of Maine, LLC (AMS of Maine) began in 2015. AMS of Maine is a female-owned business located in Raymond Maine. Its principal owner is Tanya Griffeth. Tanya received her B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Maine in 1997. She taught for a couple of years and took some time off to raise her new family.
When it was time to go back to work she sought out a different career path. In 2008 Tanya started her consulting career at Maine Tomorrow under the wing of John Melrose. In 2011 John had a five year retirement plan and sold his company to Eaton Peabody. The entire team moved to Eaton Peabody. In 2014 John retired leaving Eaton Peabody to re-evaluate the consulting side of the business. In 2015 Tanya decided to start AMS of Maine to offer the association management services she had been providing as an employee.
Current clients include Maine Asphalt Pavement Association (MAPA), Kennebec Valley Tourism Council (KVTC) and American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC). Past clients include Augur & Associates, Fuller Ink, MBA Commingling Group and Forman Acton Educational Foundation.
Tanya lives with her husband and 2 kids in Raymond.
Tanya has been the Executive Director for MAPA (Maine Asphalt Pavement Association) for several years and was interviewed by AsphaltPro magazine in April 2019.
